Sue embraces ordinary people and portrays their poses from a contemporary lighthearted,
colorful viewpoint.  Many will also appreciate the feminine touch she brings to contemporary
art.  Sue, a self-taught artist, credits Pam Wall, a Designer/Artist and guru, for enhancing her
technique.  Previously busy with other professions and caring for her family, Sue patiently
awaited her time to paint.  Escaping to her studio to paint is at last Sue's priority---
everything
else is negotiable!
Now she'll paint 10 hours straight with all kinds of music accompanying
her as inspiration. Sue's artistic objective is to perceive movement.  At times her subject
matter is not in motion, but an attitude will always emerge and grab hold.  By zooming in on
each subject, Sue strikes an emotional chord.  Each work materializes with a distinct
personality.  One of her first exhibits included a juror exhibition of works called "The Painting
Workshop Artists of Alpharetta" presented by the Mainstreet Art Co.  Another of her showings
was at the Ballroom Studios of Atlanta, where she sold more pieces than any other artist in a
silent auction for charity.  She also participates in the Spotlight on Southern Artists.  Sue is a
member of the Atlanta Artists Center.
